How do you pronounce the brand name?

The brand name is French, so Terra is pronounced (tear-a) and Moderne is pronounced (mo-dare-n).

What is the jewelry made of? 

Each style varies but we use 100% recycled aluminum, plated sterling silver, 14k gold plated brass, surgical steel, resin, freshwater pearls and recycled brass; every inch of our creations are lead, cadmium and nickel free too.

 

How are you sustainable and ethical?

We do a few things. We use eco-friendly, recycled materials, we ensure our materials come from partners who practice fair trade and acceptable working conditions, we ensure our artisans craft in healthy working environments, we give back to social and environmental causes-the list goes on. Why is there a waitlist for your jewelry?

Good question. Because our jewelry is handmade in small batches (we believe in slow fashion), our artisans only make a handful of pieces at a time; this helps curb over-production and minimizes waste and energy. We have a waitlist because limited quantities of styles are made and we want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to get the style they want.

How long does it take to receive items on the waitlist?

Our production time can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks, but we will notify you via email as soon as your order is ready and shipped.

How does Local Delivery work?

Local delivery is only available to Nevada residents living within a 10 mile radius of the store location. A $300 minimum order is required the delivery fee is $9.99. Please note that due to COVID-19, our delivery is contact free so expect your package to be left at your front door. Hand offs and signatures are unavailable at this time. By selecting Local Delivery, you agree to take full responsibility of the package after it has been dropped off. Terra Moderne is not liable for your package(s) once it they have been delivered.

Which items are made in the U.S. and which ones are global?

Items made by global artisans will be marked in the description page of the item. The same applies if the item is made in the U.S.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards plus PayPal, Amazon Pay and Apple Pay.

Are payments secured?

When making purchases on our site, SSL technology (Secure Socket Layer) is used to protect your personal information when it's being sent over the Internet. It encrypts sensitive information and prevents it from being accessed once submitted. SSL is the standard for payments over the Internet and is supported by Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Safari and other popular browsers.

What is the return policy?

Customers can return unused and unworn merchandise in its original packaging 14 days after the item(s) have been received. To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team via the chat bot or email at info@terramoderne.com. Customers are responsible for the shipping costs of their returns. Exchanges are not currently available and gift cards are non-refundable.

What items are not eligible for returns?

Sale items, special orders, personalized or custom-made products, final sale merchandise, or products that are specified as not eligible for return in its description are final sale and cannot be returned.

How long does it take to receive my refund?

Refunds are issued once your return has been accepted and processed. You will receive an email from us once your return is received. You will also receive an email from us once your refund has been issued. It then generally takes 5-7 business days for the refund to reflect to your original mode of payment. What are the shipping costs?

We offer free standard shipping on all U.S. orders! Orders take 1-2 days to process and standard shipping takes 1-2 weeks. Expedited shipping takes 2-3 business days and is $20. Please note that due to the current pandemic, orders and their ship times may be delayed.

Do you offer sales and promotional codes?

We offer promo codes to new customers via newsletter sign up or during special offers. Special offer promo codes run during specific time periods. Please note that you can use only one promo code per order. Sale items are excluded from promos as they are already fully discounted, unless indicated otherwise. An order is placed without a promo code cannot be retroactively applied.

What kind of packaging do you use? What about giftwrap?

We give biodegradable burlap pouches (made with jute and linen) with every piece of jewelry and ship them in 100% recycled boxes. Our gift boxes are made of recycled materials, too.

I can’t login to my account. What should I do?

If you're experiencing problems trying to log in to the website, please check which error message you are receiving. The most common error is typing in a wrong email address or password.
